Came into a heavy cache of BC circuits and here we are!  The Basic Cable is both a fantastic introduction to analog glitch video and a striking aesthetic to have in your video toolkit.  The Basic Cable is one of the OG standalone upcycled video art designs of the early 2010s analog glitch emergence.  As time has gone on its signature green signal hug has become instantly recognizable and has been utilized in countless music videos, commercials and performances.  In its simple six knob design a plethora of sync corruption, ringing, color fill and rainbow feedback effects are at your fingertips.  A switch on the top of the unit toggles between normal operation and an alternate mode that creates a blend matrix out of the left and center knobs.  In this alternate mode a variety of heavy noise and general video distortion is possible.
